Geocache Description:


Sequim is turning 100 !

In celebration, we are having a special event that will mark the beginning of the
Sequim Centennial Geocoin Challenge.

This Historic Event is taking place in the middle of downtown sunny Sequim!
Everyone is welcome. This is a family event, so bring the kids.

The Sequim Centennial Geocoin Challenge and the 15 caches that go with it,
will be published sometime during the Event.




When: Saturday, November 17, 2012

Time: 9 am - 12 pm

Where: Pioneer Park, 387 E Washington St


  • Special edition Silver Sequim Centennial Trackable Geocoins: Available for purchase! ($11 ea.)
  • Lunch: Choose from multiple nearby restaurants and use one or more of the coupons that you will find in your Event Goodie Bag.
  • Raffle Prizes: Everyone gets a raffle ticket just for showing up. Bring a raffle item and receive an extra ticket!
  • City of Sequim Trivia Game: Brush up on those historic facts!
  • Geocoin & Travel Bug Exchange: Bring your Bugs and Coins to trade or just drop off at the Event.
  • Refreshments: Coffee and snacks will be available during the event.

Please log your attendance plans and be sure to include the number in your party (including spouses and children)  so we can make sure every group gets their own Event Goodie Bag!

These coins were designed in-part by Avroair and minted by Oakcoins.
The version shown is the rough-draft. New images will be posted as they become available.

The Gold edition will only be available as a reward for completing the Sequim Centennial Geocoin Challenge. The Challenge will begin during the Event.

The Silver edition will be for sale ($11) at this event, while supplies last.  Limited number available. No coin reservations. First come first serve.
