Geocache Description:


This summer Bernheim extended the Hike, Bike, Pike to the limits of their property on this side of the road. adding an additional 1/2 mile of trail.  The trail now ends at Lotus road and highway 245. Bernheim's property continues on towards Bardstown on the other side of 245 from here.  Where the trail now ends you are very close to Four Roses Distillery property.  There has been discussion that someday the trail will once again be extended toward Bardstown but until then this is the end of the trail.
You are looking for a camouflaged 35mm container hidden about 15 feet off the trail
The caches along this section of the Bike, Hike, Pike trail are hidden on Bernheim property.  They should ONLY be accessed from the trail.  This cache as well as the other caches in this area are hidden near the trail and DO NOT require you to go down the steep hill, or cross the creek, or get near the railroad tracks to find them. 
This cache placement has been approved by Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest.  
For more information about Bernheim Arboretum And Research Forest  including current operating hours.  There is no admission fee at Bernheim on Monday through Friday.  On Saturday & Sunday there is a $5 fee per passenger car, or motorcycle.
