We drove the famous "Tunnel of Trees" in northern Michigan and stopped to take pics of the panoramic view. I decided this would be a perfect place to hide a cache!
you are looking for a camo cigar-sized tube (it was a cigar tube!) that holds just a log and a pencil. This is close to the road so watch for traffic. Not much stealth required unless there are muggles taking pics. This is a beautiful drive-in the fall....I don't know about winter, but I wouldn't search if there is more than 2-3 inches of snow.
