Geocache Description:


Mac's Lake trail is sort of a loop with the first half paved and the return portion being gravel. The gravel path along the fence line near the end of the loop makes a hard left near the park road and heads towards the plant nursery.  It is here they have cut a path to the right that heads back down towards Mac's Lake trailhead.  They recently knocked a small section of the stone wall out to make it easier to complete the Mac's Lake loop.  The round trip distance is about 9 tenths of a mile.
You are looking for a bison tube hidden very near Mac's Lake trail.
This cache placement has been approved by Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest.  
For more information about Bernheim Arboretum And Research Forest  including current operating hours.  There is no admission fee at Bernheim on Monday through Friday.  On Saturday & Sunday there is a $5 fee per passenger car, or motorcycle.
