A great view from this lookout. If you know what you are looking at, you'll see right out to Piercy Island, which is world famous. It is more commonly know because of "THE HOLE IN THE ROCK" tour. You'll see Waitangi, Russell, Okiato and many of the islands in the Bay.
If you just walk to this cache, it's about 30 minutes UP a well formed track.
I'd suggest after you have walked to the lookout, follow the track to Oromahoe Road, and then back to Opua, to walk the coastal walkway back to your car. I've placed some caches on the way for this longer walk of about 20km. You'll need the day!
