This cache was placed to commemorate the Geocaching Fungal Foray Event at Spiers Old School grounds near Beith, run by the NAC Ranger Service as the third instalment of a 'natural history to the Geocachers' initiative!
This cache is easier to find if seekers have attended the tree identification course at Spier's :-)
Park on the verge at the side of the field entrance - take care - it's a surprisingly busy road. Head through the field gate and make your way to the copse. Please keep the camouflage in place. Incidently you may need two hands - it went in easily enough, so it will come out.
