islander1988: Thank you to ElGatoMontes for posting a picture showing the cache hiding spot. It looks like the tree the cache was hidden is has been removed. So, after over 9 years and 500+ finds, it's time for this cache to bid adieu.

Not far from Maidan Nezalezhnosti and within easy walking distance of each other lie St. Sophia Cathedral and St. Michael's Monastery. This cache is located at a small park and playground area between the two sites.
The first foundations of St. Sophia Cathedral were laid a millennium ago, and in 2011 the cathedral celebrated its 1000th anniversary. The church complex has different parts, and it is well worth a visit if you have time in Kyiv.
Saint Michael's Monastery was originally built in the Middle Ages by Sviatopolk II Iziaslavych. The monastery has several sections, but was destroyed in the 1930s by Soviet authorities. After Ukraine's independence, the monastery was reconstructed and officially reopened in 1999.
This cache is located in a small park about midway between the cathedral and monastery. Please use stealth as there will be people about. There are two containers in place; if you find both, please only sign one to conserve space for others to sign.
