Geocache Description:

This is a great little spot I stumbled upon while exploring my neighborhood.  I love the old remnants of what appears to have been a bridge or loading dock of some sort decades ago.  Just a really neat little known spot to soak in true Chicago.

Container blends in quite nicely in this location... it is a DIY microcache made of two-liter bottle caps... it's the size of 2 bottles caps on top of one another.  Bring your own pen.  Use caution around this area, as there is a significant amount of trash and debris. You will have to do a bit of climbing on a fairly steep angle. Take your time, and use your best judgement. This would be a perfect spot for anyone who actively participates in cache-in-trash-out practices.

Be careful when you're going for the cache... it's not an easily accessible area, and I wouldn't recommend it for small children. There is a rather steep incline and you'll have to do a bit of light climbing. A hard terrain to find while Geo-caching in Chicago, but the adventurous should enjoy it.  Go during the daylight.  Saturday and Sunday are best. This is on public land, though it has been long abandoned by the city. It is not in either fenced off area, that is private property.

Soak in the skyline while you're here, as well as the beauty of one of Chicagos lesser known industrial corridors.
