Geocache Description:


There are at least 250 caches along this stretch of the Highway. How many can you do in a day? All of them? All the caches in this series are on the East side of the road; therefore, for safety reason, this series should be done going North bound (from Hwy 20) start with 001 and work your way to Prineville!

Some things to remember when doing this series


*Start with low numbered caches & work towards higher numbered caches
*Make sure you have plenty of water.
*Cell reception out here is not great so don't count on having phone service.
*Make sure you keep a full tank of gas (closest gas stations are Bend and Prineville).
*Make sure you have a good spare tire and that is has air in it
*Be careful, this road isn't super busy but it is still well traveled
*Probably not a good series to have small kids or pets roaming around
*This area is OPEN RANGE, that means no fences, and cows have the right of way.
*If traveling at night, watch your speed, and don't over do it
*Have fun!
