Geocache Description:

THE SCISSORS...

Obviously, scissors are something most people use on a regular basis, but did you know how many different types of scissors are used in surgery?  There are scissors used for cutting suture and bandages like you see on TV, but there are also scissors for dissecting tissue.  In a lot of surgeries, scissors are used after the scalpel to dissect through tissue layers to get down to the spot in the body the surgeon needs to work on. Even in Laparoscopic surgeries, special scissors on the end of a long shaft are sent inside the body through trocars to be utilized.
Scissors, like other instruments, come in various sizes that can be extra long to use in deep belly cases or very small to be used under a microscope.
This series is based on something I am very passionate about.  Not only has it been the main source of my income for almost 2 decades, it also has shown me the best and worst of the human race.... Please place back the way you find it... BYOP
