A Geocaching Pancake Breakfast
Most people have New Years Day off and the only thing to do is watch a football game or two in the afternoon. Why not spend the morning meeting other geocachers. You could talk about geocaching, cache hides & ideas, puzzles and sharing stories of the hunts from the past year.
Bring your bugs, coins and sig items to trade or exchange.
We will be meeting at
Sacred Heart Church
Lower Auditorium
10 AM sharp
January 1, 2013
Located at the intersection of
Gratiot Ave. (M-3) and Utica Rd.
In Beautiful Roseville, MI
N 42° 30.211
W 082° 55.924
****We will be let into the Lower Auditorium at exactly 10 am, no sooner, this is because of the church services being held the day of the event. Please enjoy the many caches in the area to help pass the time.****
Local cachers will be placing new caches in the area to be published on New Year's Day for your caching enjoyment. These caches will have the HNY-13 prefix added to the name to help identify them. We will also be raffling off FTF certificates for some of these caches at approximately 11am. If anyone would like to add items to the raffle or hide caches for the event please contact me at glennsix@hotmail.com .
There are two parking lots located nearby for event parking:
One is located at N42 30.158 W082 55.852
The second is located at N42 30.199 W 082 55.846
Lists of new caches will be available at the event on paper and electronically so, bring your cables for down loads.
Stop in and have some good clean fun for the whole family. Don't forget to dress warm, after all it is the middle of winter.
For more information on the event please click: https://sites.google.com/site/rosevillehny13event/ This is the new page for the event. Also if you want to hide a cache for the event use the HNY-13 prefix.
I would like to thank fellow Roseville cacher Betsysmiley (Tom) for helping make the arrangements with the Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart church and also Knights of Columbus for providing breakfast for the event so we can have a nice warm place to meet and a wonderful breakfast to get us started on our caching day.
