Geocache Description:

Celebrate International EarthCache Day and kick off Earth Science Week at Potters Marsh and take a guided tour of the Making of Potter Marsh EarthCache with Ladybug Kids.

After meeting in the parking lot at 10:00 a.m., we'll carpool for the tour around Potters Marsh which will take 30-45 minutes.  We'll then return to the parking lot for a random drawing of swag provided by the Geological Society of America.

@The far away folks who have posted notes about logging this event: Per normal geocaching tradition, one must physically attend the event to log a "Will Attend" and earn a "smilie." Besides, you wouldn't really want your stats to show you've cached in Alaska when you really haven't, would you? Information from geoawareHQ about the International EarthCache Day souvenir may be found here.
