Part#4 in a series of four to get you to the fifth and final "5000-Tundra Wolf's Platinum Ammo Can."
These four caches, 1000, 2000,3000 and 4000 are beacons to guide you. They are in tribute to a great geocacher and friend, Tundra Wolf and his constant companions, Luna and Jewel. Tundra Wolf has had other faithful friends along the way and some are now departed.
So these caches are both memorial and celebration.
Today we celebrate 5000 caches, good friends and good companions.
Bring something to write on. You will need to copy the partial coordinates you will find in the cache. You will need to find all four containers to get the complete coords to the final, "5000- Tundra Wolf's Platinum Ammo Can."
You are welcome to find this cache independent of the "5000" final and still get the smilie. Finding the entire series nets you FIVE smilies.
This series, which takes you to the fifth and final "5000" cache is a moderate length hike of about 4 miles round trip and it's a steep hike in spots. You will gain nearly 700 ft. in altitude in less than two miles. That's not black diamond ski slope material, but it's very rocky and it will feel like it. Bring water, paper and maybe a snack, also don't forget the camera because the views are the best in NEPA.
