Geocache Description:

We placed this cache to remember someone special resting at Grandview Cemetery. We know that Debbie would have enjoyed hearing geocaching stories from her grandsons.

This cemetery has special meaning to D Bobbins. His mother Debbie is buried here. She passed when Denny was at a very young age. Also, his father retired several years ago after managing the cemetery for over 20 years. Denny spent many weekends and summers off from school cutting grass and working funerals. This allowed him to visit his mother's grave as often as he liked. Over the years other members of his family were buried near his mother, including his grandmother, Norma, and his aunt, Janet. The White family's graves are located just south southeast of the cache location.

We have permission to place a cache in this cemetery. Please, no night caching.

D Bobbins' father in recent weeks has been at the cemetery helping update records while the owners search for someone new to manage the place. If you see him there, say hello!
