The BIG Shoe Tree is another great place to stop and stretch your legs along the Sturt Highway.
Whilst camping recently at Ramco Point we discovered many shoe trees on our travels to the camp. After planting another cache called "The Shoe Tree" near the turn off to Ramco Point, and retiring "will's" beloved camping ugg boots to the tree, we decided that the other BIG shoe tree needed a cache.
We are sure you will enjoy this massive shoe tree. Feel free to stop and add your own pair, just as we did at The Shoe Tree.
We are not sure of the history of the shoe trees in the Riverland, however the are a source of great interest and can be found in many parts of the world.
