Answer the question to get the final coordinates.

Shelby County established in 1821 was named after General Isaac Shelby, the revolutionary soldier and happened to be the first Governor of Kentucky.

A few famous notables were birthed and/or lived and rose to great success from this county. One of my personal favorites being Robert Lawson of the Indiana Benchmark Series. Many great benchmarks can be found in Shelby County!

Undoubtedly the most famous is an author of the well known, especially by locals, "Bears Of Blue River"

He gave up his law practice after having great success as an author. Some of his works were adapted into Broadway plays and major motion pictures. He died at the age of 55 in his home in Shelbyville, IN of liver cancer in 1913.
