Scouting in Welland is celebrating 100 years this year!
To start the scouting season off right, the 9th Welland Cub Scouts held their Investiture Ceremony for new Cub Scouts on Merritt Island. After the ceremony was complete, the pack set out on an adventure - a twilight into darkness hike - and some geocaching along the way.
As the pack learned about geocaching and GPS usage, they found a couple caches, and then found the ideal spot to hide a cache of their own.
This cache celebrates the 9 Cub Scouts who completed the requirements of their Pack Specialty badge in Geocaching. Congrats to Alex, Ian, Desmond, Garvan, Zac, Xavier, Davan, Jordan and Nathan.
