This geocache is hidden near the Meadows Golf Course and a parking area near ground zero. Make sure you don't block the road when parking here. The geocache is available in the winter but the area may not be winter friendly due to the snow that gets piled up near this cache. The cache itself is high enough off the ground to be considered "winter friendly" though.
I often see abandoned golf balls on the edge of the street in this area and sometimes I park here and go for a "golf ball walk" to pick them up. The day I placed this geocache I was doing a "golf ball walk" and thought that this would be a good place for a geocache. As the name of the cache says, Watch For Flying Golf Balls, but the geocache is not hidden on that sign. It is hidden somewhere on this big sign structure. There wasn't anyone golfing over here when I placed the geocache but there was a lot of vehicle traffic. When there are golfers present it may require some stealth when searching for the cache and replacing the cache. Have fun and be safe. You may even find an abandoned golf ball while you are here. Do not walk onto the golf course while searching for the geocache unless you are looking for this one while you are golfing. The geocache is not on golf course property. The geocache is magnetic.
