Fraser Foreshore Trail Cache Series:
This series of caches has been placed in Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park along the Fraser Foreshore Trail. From a starting point at Boundary Road and the river,

the trail heads south east along the north side of the North Arm of the Fraser River for about 2.75 km (one way) to Tillicum Street at the Fraser River.

The path is mostly packed gravel although a 700 m section at the south east end is paved.
You can park at either end or even in the middle to grab these caches. It’s a great walk so parking at one end and walking both ways will give you a nice 5.5 km walk. If you park at the parking area at Byrne Road and the river you will have access to public washrooms and a playground area.

A seasonal dog off leash area is situated to the west of the Byrne Road Parking area.
Please be aware that at certain times of the year some parts of the path may be flooded by the river either as a result of high tides and/or high water levels in the river.

Along this trail you will have a number of places where you will get a great view of this “Working River”. You will see tugs, barges, log booms and other river traffic as well as a variety of birds and other wildlife.

Along this path there are already a number of other caches to be found if you have not been in this area before. Here is a list of them.
