Madison County was established in 1823. It was named for James Madison, the 4th President of The United States
Madison County holds many sights and wonders. From the beauty of Falls Park in Pendleton, IN to the Guinness Book of World's Record holding "World's Largest Ball Of Paint in Alexandria, IN.
This couple out of Alexandria, IN made a huge mark on the world by way of music.
As of 2012 they have written over 700 songs, won 6 Grammy's, 30+ Dove Awards,Year 2000 "Christian Songwriter of The Century" by ASCAP.
One accomplishment he is extremely proud of was in 2006 he was given SPEBSQSA (Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, Inc.) Honorary Life Member.
Even with all their numerous accomplishments, they are humble people who still enjoy small town life in "Small Town U.S.A.", Alexandria, IN.
