Geocache Description:

The grass moth family of Lepidoptera [butterflies and moths] are variable in appearance and can be seen closely folded up on grass stems although they are not easy to spot in this position. The internet failed to provide me with much more information! The cache is in a small pillpot and has been sited within the Dartmoor National Park Authority Guidelines. Dont forget to take an inkpad and some paper or card to take a copy of the stamp - PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE STAMP.

However it is also sited just within the Merrivale Range which is a Military Training Area on which live firing and other pyrotechnics may be used. The area is generally open public access. One of the safety rules for public access is:- Do not, (and ensure that children do not) approach, touch or pick up any metal objects lying on the ground. Please obey all byelaws and locally posted information concerning times when the area may be closed. These may be physical barriers, flags or lights. PLEASE CHECK THE FIRING NOTICES PRIOR TO ATTEMPTING TO WALK TO THIS CACHE. There is no pen/cil in the cache and no room for swaps.
