The goal of this challenge is to find a cache at: N39 47.JIE, W94 50.GEA
To get these final coordinates, you need to find the following first names on gravestones:
A – Casimir
B – Delia M & David
C – Emma & Paul
D – George & Karen
E – Joseph (1911-1944)
F – Mary E & Frank J
G – Maxine & Maurice
H – Sallie & Lawrence
I – Seveta & Lucille
J – Vickie Cole
Some of the gravestones are actually two gravestones side by side. Each letter (gravestone) above represents a different digit. To determine which letter is which digit, examine the last names on the stones. 9 of 10 have one letter of the alphabet in common. The position of the common letter in the last names determines which name equals what digit. The one that does not have the common letter is 0. The common letter may occur more than once in a last name, but each name can only stand for one digit.
All of the gravestones in use are in the same section of the cemetery. Being a large cemetery, it would be helpful to know which section to search. For a hint, determine what number goes with these three words: Candles, Tons, Sweet.
Lastly, since this challenge is in a cemetery, please be respectful of any mourners that may be present.
Good luck.
