Geocache Description:

The main part, or south shore, of Quartz Mountain State Park has several caches. The north shore had none until now.

The cache is rated terrain 2 mainly due to the undergrowth. The walk is very short.

Cottonwood Campground

The north shore is home to a beautiful, tree lined winding drive. There are plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing. In the spring the wildflowers carpet the roadside. In the fall the cottonwoods put on a colorful show. There are campgrounds, hiking trails, RV trails, and more for the enjoyment of the visitors.

Congratulation to 2Moore on the FTF.
