The Hood River Ranger Station near Parkdale was built sometime in the early 1970s and is the headquarters for the Hood River Ranger District of the Mt. Hood National Forest. If you need information before heading out to hike in this area, this is a good place to stop. As of October 2012 their hours are Monday - Saturday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Even if you don't need information this is a fantastic place to stop because the view of Mt. Hood to the south is pretty awesome!
There is a picnic table nearby, so stealth may be required. Please rehide carefully so this cache isn't muggled.
