This Cache is in an area that is very near and dear to my heart. The town of Octavia was named after one of my ancestors. My father owns the actual letter from a woman named Octavia asking that the town be named after her. You will see a paved road, a gravel road, and a dirt road near the cache location. The dirt road (private) leads to our weekend house. And the land surrounding it was just recently handed down to my father. It's over 550 acres of the most beautiful land and it's just FULL of Native American History. If you come on the right day you might catch me (Laurissa) or my sister (Caren) riding around on our four-wheelers. If so, stop us and and we'd be happy to show you around and tell you more about the area :)
