There was only one cache on the section of the I-275 Bike Trail between Hines Drive and Five Mile Road. This is one of a set of four that gets started on working back towards Five Mile. As with the other sections, I am naming them after bicycle manufacturers. This cache is named after Wright Cycle Company. Wright Cycle Company had its beginnings in a bicycle repair shop started by the Wright Brothers in 1892. In 1896 they began manufacturing bicyles of their own designs. They introduced several innovations to bicycle design. Their bicycle business provided the technical capability and the financing for their aviation experiments.
This is intended to be a Ride & Grab cache. The cache container is a small camo painted bison tube. You will need a log extractor. Please bring your own pencil or pen.
I have found that a quick and simple log extraction tool can be made from a small paperclip. Straighten one end out. Grab just a small portion (maybe 1/32 of an inch or 1 millimeter) with a long-nose or needle-nose pliers then bend it at a right angle. I have attached one to the cache you can use. Please leave it for the next person.
