There was only one cache on the section of the I-275 Bike Trail between Hines Drive and Five Mile Road. This is one of a set of four that gets started on working back towards Five Mile. As with the other sections, I am naming them after bicycle manufacturers. This cache is named after Minerva. Minerva started out manufacturing in 1897 in Belgium. Shortly after they began manufacturing automobiles and motorized bicycles or motocyclettes.
This is intended to be a Ride & Grab cache. The cache container is a small camo painted bison tube. Please be sure that the container and the attachment are hidden from view. You will need a log extractor. Please bring your own pencil or pen.
I have found that a quick and simple log extraction tool can be made from a small paperclip. Straighten one end out. Grab just a small portion (maybe 1/32 of an inch or 1 millimeter) with a long-nose or needle-nose pliers then bend it at a right angle. I have attached one to the cache you can use. Please leave it for the next person.
