Geocache Description:

I noticed this plaque when heading out to one of BigglesNZ's caches on the Boulder Bank and thought there should be a cache here. When I stopped to investigate it a bit further I found it had further significance - the living legend bit. Trouble was there was another cache too close. This week that has miraculously disappeared just like the cache itself!

The plaque tells us that Nelson West Rotary and DoC worked together to replant this wetland to help promote ecological values for the benefit of the community and visitors.

The forest? was planted in 2011 during the Rugby World Cup and is dedicated to a New Zealand Rugby Legend. To find out who you will have to visit. It does however beg the question - What happens to the forest when they are no longer living?
