4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

A small cache in a little bit of bush with a rewarding view.

This hill and corresponding bushland has one of the best views in the area. The actual cache is a coin orientated cache, as i have quite a large collection of coins and have decided to share a small selection with my fellow cachers, so bring along your foreign and old coins and swap for some that are differant (no legal Australian currency please and only coins to be swapped.) It is a small grey/red container with a pen and log book in a plastic bag under a prickled tree, so please be careful when retreieving the cache. Also, there is a steep desent beside the cache so again be careful. The cache is hidden in a piece of bushland which has one of the best views of the local park that i have ever seen, and you will have to climb over the fence to retrieve the cache (don't worry it is fine to climb over as long as you are careful to not damage the wildlife). Be on the lookout for muggles as it is a rather exposed spot to onlookers from the park bellow, and the best and safest way to get to the GZ is to park at the end of Parkfield Place and to walk along the limestone path that connects to the top of the park. Alternatively you can park at the club rooms and walk across the park to get to the GZ. Happy Hunting, and again please be careful when retrieving the cache.
