This cache is in my Monopoly series.
Baltic Avenue is the 3rd space in Monopoly, but the 2nd property. Baltic is one of two properties which make up this Monopoly, Mediterranean Avenue is the second. Baltic is able to charge double the rent than that of Mediterranean Avenue. Baltic unlike Mediterranean Avenue can be bought on the first turn. This is unless you play like me and make everyone go around the board ounce before buying.
Fun Trivia
According to Hasbro, in 1972, the Atlantic City Commissioner of Public Works threatened to change the names of the real Baltic and Mediterranean Avenue, but public outcry vetoed the bill.
The original name for Baltic Avenue was Whitechapel Road.
