#7 Foxhills Trot Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

englandshire: Went to perform maintenance and found that the container was not in it's correct position; indeed a good look round and there was no sign of it. I have decided to archive, though I have an idea or two for "son of #7". Watch this space.......

Geocache Description:

A series of 9 Caches located along a 2 mile walk along footpaths and lanes at the eastern edge of Lytchett Matravers.

The caches are in a variety of containers and each location has its own individual D/T rating. There are no stiles, steep hills or gates to negotiate; however the footpath can be very muddy, so wellies or waterproof boots are recommended. Consequently the footpath section is not recommended for wheelchairs or strollers unless dry. The caches located along Foxhills Rd might been down as Cache & Dashes.

Along the footpath there are some lovely views towards the Purbecks & Poole Harbour. You are likely to see wildlife.

Please ensure all caches are replaced as found. If you find the paper log full and wish to replace I am happy for you to do so, but please let me know if you do.

If this cache is done in isolation approaching from Foxhills Road it can be accessed with wheelchair or stroller to within 4-5m, so assistance may be needed for the "grab". This footpath has a hard core base and is not prone to mud as the one from the top of Foxhills Rd (Caches 1-5) can be.

This one might be done as a cache & dash parking at the end of the footpath.
