Geocache Description:

The cache is located inside the grounds of a farm stall but should be available 24/7. ( Owner still OK with Cache site ). The Owner has full knowledge of the cache and is waiting to meet more Geocache "Wierd-O's". Cigar shape container with Logbook and pencil.


The Cache is 34 km from Clanwilliam on the Wupperthal road, over the spectacular Pakhuis Pass in an area with ruggedly beautiful landscapes and fascinating rock formations. Situated on the banks of the Brandewyn rivier ( Brandy River ), what a pleasant thought and is a welcome rest stop before continuing into the hinterland and it's gravel roads.
Nearby a 5km rock art trail winds along the Brandewyn river with some excellent examples of art left behind by the San people.
