Geocache Description:

Please keep you entries in the logbook as SHORT as possible as there is limited log space.

The cache is pretty much muggle proof so don't give up AND it is not on or in the trough.

The Colles Horse Trough - The limestone drinking trough was commissioned by Kilkenny Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in 1902 at a cost of fifty-eight puonds and five shillings. It was supplied by Mr. Colles of Maddowxtown Limestone Works.
The trough is unique as it was designed to provide water to horses, at the upper level, and dogs, at the lower level.
