Geocache Description:

The Soaring Eagle is in reference to the large kiosk sign and hitching post that was created by my son as the final step in achieving his Eagle Award for Boy Scouts. This is located at the main entrance to the Danville- Georgetown Trails near Tahoma Junior High School. This was completed with some generous donations received from a few of our local businessesaround town and the aide of his fellow Scouts from BSA Troop 594, Maple Valley.

This sign will soon have a wonderful map depicting all of the trails for this area.

** As an added bonus to the smiley you will also be able to discover a very cool Boy Scout of America 'Celebrating the Adventure -Continuing the Journey' Geo-Coin that is attached to the cache container.

Have fun and be careful. When I placed this container I came across a ton of elk, deer, coyote and bear scat and even an owl pellet in the area. I also discovered a mostly eaten elk carcass... Don't worry though, whatever ate that should be full for a while now... Like I said - Be careful.
