Geocache Description:

Look for a maple tree. Coordinates are bouncy. Sign the log, find a letter to spell a word. This is a park setting in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please respect residents’ privacy. There is one virtual cache in this area that also must be completed to earn a geocoin. All clues (virtual and physical) and answer sheets are downloadable at www.willamettefallsfestival.com/events/geocache/

The cache is part of a series known as the Willamette Falls Festival 2012 Geocache Challenge. It overlooks the spectacular Willamette River. This cache is one of 12 virtual and eight physical (total 20) geocaches sponsored by the Willamette Falls Heritage Area Coalition and Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory to celebrate the Willamette Falls Festival with a Geocache Challenge. The challenge combines heritage with geocaching. We hope you explore new places you have never been or discover new things about places you thought you already knew about. The Willamette Falls Festival Geocache Challenge begins 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12. Information may be retrieved at the WFF event on Oct. 13 and 14 only at Coordinates N 45 21.469 W 122 36.508.
