A cache at Jacobs Ladder, at the new end of the prom.
Sea defence work in 2012 around Cobbolds Point has made the bottom of "the ladder" much more accessible. The prom has been extended by about 350m, and there is now just a short section missing, which if bridged, would create a continuous coastal walkway from Felixstowe Ferry to the far end of the prom at Manor Terrace. Apparently the cliffs at the missing section are privately owned, and there are no plans to complete this section any time soon, although it is possible to walk this section on the beach, but possibly not at high tide!
