Geocache Description:

This is near the site of the Old Transfiguration Roman Catholic Polish Church. The church was built in 1889. After much protest from its parishoners, the church was said to have had needed more than 2,000,000 dollars in repairs and was ordered to be torn down. This geocache is here to remind people of the destruction of this historic site in 2003. All that is left standing is the 2 parking lots that were there for the church. *** Congrats to joshberry2012 on FTF****
