Geocache Description:

Yet another addition to the Zimmerman flashback caches.  Bring a pen & trade fairly.

As children we would occasionally find our way to this part of the woods. There used to be a huge hole / crater around here. We dragged a large fallen tree over the hole and met in the middle to joust. The loser would end up in the muddy water below or get lucky and jump to the side. Most of the time we did this we were already caked in mud but for some reason this hole was worse than any other swampy nastiness we'd find back here. It wasn't fun to end up in it. It smelled like sewage and was completely black with slimy leaves throughout. It was just disgusting. Hilarious to see your friends fall into but just plain gross to get knocked in yourself.

The hole is close to this cache but not too close. I couldn't put it near it because it wasn't the minimum 161 m needed between caches. It's filled in quite a bit over the years as well. Probably a good thing.
