Hier befinden wir uns auf dem högsten Punkt der Nordlichen seite der Seiser Alm, von hier hat man einen super Panorama auf dem gesamnten Hochplateau.
Seiseralm, so nennt sich nicht nur die Hochfläche sondern auch eine Ortschaft auf der größten Hochalm Europas. Bestehend aus den Siedlungen Saltria, Kompatsch, Joch und Piz, befindet sich das Gebiet auf einer Höhe von etwa 1.680 m ü.d.M..
Der größte Weiler der Ortschaft nennt sich Kompatsch und befindet sich an der westlichen Seite der Seiser Alm. Hier finden wir auch die Bergstation der Kabinenbahn der Seiser Alm, der Puflatsch-Bahn und noch einige weitere Lifte. Am östlichen Ende der Alm finden wir hingegen die Streusiedlung Saltria am Oberlauf des Jenderbaches, der bis hinunter ins Grödnertal führt. In Piz und Joch befinden sich hingegen einige Almhütten, deren Besuch perfekt mit einer Wanderung durch die intakte Natur kombiniert werden kann. Außerdem: Der westliche Teil der Seiser Alm bildet seit 1975 zusammen mit dem Schlern und dem Rosengarten den Naturpark Schlern-Rosengarten.

Qui ci troviamo nel punto piú alto del lato nord dell'Alpe di Siusi, da qui si ha una splendida vista sul intero altipiano.
Alpe di Siusi, è il nome che definisce sia l’ampio altipiano sia la località composta dagli insediamenti di Saltri, Compaccio, Giogo e Piz, situati a ca. 1.680 m di altitudine.
Il più grande insediamento dell’Alpe di Siusi è Compaccio, situato sul lato occidentale dell’alpe. Qui troviamo anche le stazioni a monte della cabinovia Siusi-Alpe di Siusi e Bullaccia come anche di alcune seggiovie. Sul lato orientale dell’Alpe di Siusi si trova invece Saltria in cima alla valle Jender che scende fino in Val Gardena. A Piz e Giogo si trovano alcuni rifugi, la quale visita può essere perfettamente combinata con un’escursione attraverso la natura intatta dell’Alpe di Siusi. A proposito: la parte occidentale dell’Alpe di Siusi dal 1975 costituisce assieme allo Sciliar ed al Catinaccio, il Parco Naturale Sciliar-Catinaccio.

Here we are on the point of the North högsten Lichen side of the Seiser Alm, from here you have a great view on the gesamnten plateau.
Alpe di Siusi, this is not only the name of the high plateau, but also of a village located on the largest high plateau of Europe. Comprising the villages of Saltiria, Compaccia, Giogo and Piz Giogo, the village is located at 1,680 m asl.
The largest hamlet is called Compaccia and is located on the western side of the Alpe di Siuisi. This is also where the mountain station of the Alpe di Siusi funicular is located, moreover there is the Bullaccia cableway and some other lifts. At the east end of the Alpe di Siusi, there is, however, the scattered settlement of Saltiria. Giogo and Piz Giogo offer a series of mountain huts, a visit to which can be perfectly combined with a walk.
By the way: Since 1975 the western part of the Alpine pasture, together with the Sciliar and the Catinaccio, is integrated into the Sciliar-Catinaccio nature park.
