STOP! None of the hides are on or in the safety wall. Be extra careful near the wall as there is a five-hundred foot drop on the other side of it. Stay off the wall! STOP!

“Well,” said Cletus. “Finally Wolfie put out a cache that didn’t have a darn puzzle to solve.”
“Yeah,” replied Snowman. “He told me that it’s a short, relatively simple hide that he put out that shouldn’t give us too much of a problem to find. He did say that the hides were a bit unusual, but at least it’ll give us something to do.”
“We’d probably better go find it, or Poppop or Bluey will go and get first-to-find.”
“Yeah! But we better be careful, ‘cause it’s in the area known as ‘Rattlesnake Hill’.”
“Do you have a telephone number in case we run into a problem?”
“Yep, let's slide down there and see what we can find. I have a flashlight and my reading glasses with me in case we need them to find anything.”
Note: The area that this cache is located in is at times very popular with muggles, but if you bide your time, you can complete the cache successfully without too much interference. I have included clues on the page to get you going on your quest, but you're on your own after that on this four-stage multi. I've heard the story about why they call this area "Rattlesnake Hill". It seems that when they were putting in the road, there were numerous rattlesnake dens in this area that they had to contend with to complete construction of the road.
Thanks to Roland Beck, Letchworth State Park Manager, for his support of Geocaching and allowing us to place caches in this wonderful park. Letchworth State Park permit #LSP-64.
