This cache is placed in honor of dejesky's 1000th find. I realize that we don't have to tell you this, but tradition dictates letting the honoree get FTF. There is also a special FTF prize for dejesky. Congratulations on this Golden Achievement!! When you find the gleaming gold, please be sure to cover it again as good or better than when found so the next cacher won't catch a glimpse from another angle. Many thanks!
This cache is a two stage multi. For stage one you are looking for a bison tube hanging just off the trail, with the final being a rougher bushwhack. Please be sure to wear BLAZE ORANGE during hunting season!

There is an awesome new lean-to, complete with grill. If you are having a caching adventure in McCarthy (as there are no shortages of caches here), you might want to consider stopping here for some refreshments and R&R. Please be sure to clean up nicely for the next cacher/hiker/hunter in line.

While I have yet to see it for myself, I hear that there is an open-air molded-plastic privy type of situation located near the lean-to. This may or may not be of interest depending on a few factors, including, but not limited to, how long you've been caching at McCarthy today and what you had for breakfast and/or lunch.
