This is a three-stage multi that will take you onto a grassy EHSP trail. The round trip is about 3/4 mile. The final is an ammo can graciously given to me by the good members of NCOG when I reached the magic 1000 finds. I decided it was better enjoyed by other geocachers rather than mounted on my "I love me" wall. This multi consists of an offset point, a micro and a regular along a wooded walking trail. A nice hike but can be wet in spring. Calculations are involved so BYOP and something to calculate or figure on.
Caches/types in order:
Stage 1 - Two Signs - (reference point) Published coordinates are for here.
Stage 2 - Trunks - match container.
Stage 3 - Cotton Down - Black Ammo Can nested under a log. GPS can be unreliable near stage 3.
At Two Signs add the number of letters on the top line of the top sign to the latitude below. Add the number of letters on the bottom line of the bottom sign to the longitude below. That will take you to stage 2.
N41° 32.753' W082° 47.666'.
The final cache (stage 3) has a supply of military paraphernalia - pins, patches, etc. If you take something please leave something of equal value.
