Willkommen in Neuruppin!!!

Neuruppin ist die Kreisstadt des Landkreises Ostprignitz-Ruppin.
Die erste urkundliche Erwähnung stammt aus dem Jahre 1238.
Zum Gedenken an den in Neuruppin geborenen Dichter Theodor Fontane trägt die Stadt seit dem 1. Mai 1998 den Beinamen Fontanestadt.
Ein ebenfalls sehr bekannter Neuruppiner: Karl Friedrich Schinkel.
