This cache fills in a small void in the downtown 'grid' of caches. Close to the historic Ship Creek area which is slowly being renewed with several new or renovated office buildings, a hotel, fishing, a major transportation hub (Alaska Railroad), and some nice paved trails.
The cache location requires traffic awareness. While the cache is NOT in the road and the nearby road is not busy, traffic visibility may be limited. The cache container had to be replaced as its original resting place was removed. This new cache may not be winter accessible. Make sure you bring a writing implement. Congrats to ShafRod for FTF!
