The new Welcome to Redcliffe sign was unveiled recently to local fanfare. It replaced the old Welcome to Redcliffe sign that had welcomed visitors to the Redcliffe Peninsula since 1993 which was removed during the construction of the Ted Smout Memorial Bridge.
This isn't meant to be a difficult to find cache. Its purpose is to provide you with an easy to access location to complete the "Welcome to ..." challenge.
There is parking nearby, some closer than others. The closest car park might get busy during the work day and/or on weekends.
Access to the cache is by concrete paths except for the last couple of metres. Please be careful of the garden, do not trample the plants, the cache is not hidden in them. There are clear paths around them but due to the width and terrain, the cache is not wheelchair accessible. Sorry.
Some stealth is required at the GZ but the hide should offer you some protection (hint hint) from the passing traffic. The cache itself should be easy to find in the “obvious” spot. Please BYOP.
