St James Traditional Cache
The Ciscokids: St Jaes is a delightful old church which had been neglected for years. It was auctioned recently and someone is turning it into a residence so It is necessary tp archive the cache. I have look around and cannot see anywhere that would be particularly suitable for a cache

Saint James Anglican Church, Munderoo,is and isolated gem just 18kms from Tumbarumba on the Jingellic road. The church itself is weathboard and it is located in a lovely setting with lots of magnificent old trees. It has an atmosphere of peace and serenity which is appropriate for the graves on the block. There is a a plaque on the gate in memory of a Mannus postmaster who died in 1956. The cache is located in the hollow at the base of one of the very old trees.
Drive along the Wagga Road from Tumbarumba for a short distance, turning off at Jingellic Road and driving past the Hyne Sawmill which is the biggest soft wood mill in the Southern Hemisphere, from there through the beautiful Mannus Valley which was settled sometime in the 1800's. There is a private cemetery for the McMicking family located near the original homestead which is a turn to the left at the Mannus crossroads when travelling from Tumbarumba. The McMicking's were a much travelled family. Enjoy the idyllic scenery of the Mannus Valley, pass the plaque comemorating the triumph of defeating the St Johns Wort weed in the valley. St John's Wort was supposed to have been introduced to the valley by the McMicking family as a reminder of their home land. From there you pass the turn off to the locality of beautiful Ournie and then it is a very short distance to St James.
