Hurricane Alley - ISLAND MADNESS Traditional Cache

 For this holiday season we, Fanasfreaks and Davidandbritt, wanted to do something special for all our fellow caching friends. We wanted to give a geo-gift that would continue giving for quite some time. After over three months of paddling, our gift was complete. We hope you enjoy it!!! Have Fun!!! 
 

This cache is one of 100 stand alone caches placed on Lake Lanier as a Christmas gift to our fellow geocachers.  Each of the 100 caches contains a letter/number combination.  Make sure to write those down.  You will need those to solve the 5/5 Island Madness Challenge Cache.

We get to this island and all that we can think of is that a hurricane (tornado) must have hit here a while back.  Either that or a very large storm front to cause all of this damage to the trees.  When we were walking around on this island, we startled a pair of deer.  Good thing we were cachers and not hunters.  At least for their sake.
