Why are you here? To look for this cache! Why is the cache in this area? To lead you to more caches, and this great little park! We bring our kids here a lot, its a nice place to take a walk and let the kids play on the play ground.
This cache is located along a trail system that will lead you to other caches, and some great little places to stop and rest/play. You can approach from two directions, if you park in the recreation center and take the trail in the direction of the cache - that would be the slightly longer way - OR you can park along side the road that runs by the park - and follow the trail that way, either works, only one is a bit longer than the other.
There are quite a few trees, we did average out the coords several times, they are as good as we can get, we tested them, should work.
We found this spot approaching from the rec center, the actual spot of the cache is about 20 feet off the trail - its not very "thick" and it is pretty level, did not see much in the way of nasty plants or critters though it is always possible, suggest going in cooler weather or wear bug spray!!! You can see the location from the paved trail. Marked as a 2 terrain because it is not wheelchair accessible and requires you to go off the trail a bit.
Please bring a pen/pencil as this is a micro - you are looking for a black bison tube with a gold G sticker.
This is a great location and cache for kids of all ages!
Please respect the trail, the animals (many ducks!), and the cache. Please replace as found.
There may be muggles jogging/walking the trail system, so beware!
