In honor of my 150th find, I decided it was time to start giving back and placing some of my own. This is my first one of a bunch that I plan on putting out. The cache is appropriately named for the number of acorns in the area.
It has hopefully been hidden well and needs to be put back the same to pass on the experience to the next and avoid being muggled. The cache is located just of the parking area at a quiet boat landing. It should be accessible in the winter but may be entertaining to find once the snow flies. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Sonja Marjitan of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
