Geocache Description:

This cache was an easy Micro In a Spruce Tree (MIST) hide, but it now is simply a Micro In a Tree (MIT). You’re looking for a waterproof match container surrounded by lots of camouflage. It’s about 8 metres away from the birdhouse. Note: Watch your step as you enter the ditch, as it’s a rather steep drop.

Congratulations to the GeoMeerkats for being the first to find this cache.

About Indus

Indus is a small hamlet located 24.5 km southeast of the Calgary Tower. In 2000, it had a population of 34 people. That’s living humans.

There’s a recreation complex, a two-runway (rough grass) airport, a Kindergarten to Grade 9 school with 240 students, and some small businesses.

“Indus” is a short version of “industry.” Dr. J.M. Fulton suggested the name to the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1914. In Sanskrit, “indus” means “constellation of the stars.” There’s also a small Minnesota town called Indus.

About Ghouls

Ghouls are “undead” creatures with long, sharp teeth and pale skin. They hang out in cemeteries and enjoy the taste of human flesh.

“Ghoul” means “demon” in Arabic, and tales of them date back at least to the early 8th century. These shape-shifting beings can assume the form of the person they last ate or morph into various animals, like dogs.

Ghouls lure unwary people, especially children, to abandoned places, where they slay and devour them. They also will drink blood and feast upon dead bodies. You should avoid ghouls whenever possible.
